Candle burning tips A candle can be a thing of beauty and fragrance. But it can also result in a disaster, if not handle with safety and caution. Here are some basic candle burning tips to help you get a positive experience from your candle.
1. Keep your candles stored in a cool, dry place to keep moisture out that may hinder lighting and re-lighting the wicks.
1. Before lighting a candle, inspect the container that your candle is in and do not light it if the container has cracks where hot wax can seep through and burn something. 2.Place the candle on a safe heat-resistant surface, even if the candle is inside a holder of some kind. Keep in mind the container can get very hot, so make sure nothing touches its sides.
. 3. Make sure area surrounding candle and flame is dry and not near anything flammable. Do not leave your box of matches near the candle!
